Always B Charging
TL; DR: It’s 0755, Chromebook dead. Power Bank.
First full week of school and its already happened, he forgot to charge the old Chromebook. This effectively means learnings will not be occurring. Here is a solution, but will likely also be dead until our kids finally learn their ABCs:
ALWAYS
B
CHARGING
(B about gave me a panic attack when his Switch was sub 3% in during the end game of a Fortnite battle, WHILE SITTING WITH A CHARGING CABLE ON HIS LAP. WTF!?! is wrong with our kids?)
Power Bank:
A good rechargeable battery (power bank) that can recharge a Chromebook or laptop via USB-C should have the following features:
High Capacity: Look for a power bank with a capacity of at least 20,000mAh. This will ensure you have enough power to fully charge a laptop.
Power Delivery (PD) Support: Ensure the power bank supports USB-C Power Delivery (PD) with at least 45W output. For Dell laptops, you may want one with 65W PD support.
Multiple Ports: It’s beneficial to have both USB-C and USB-A ports, allowing you to charge multiple devices simultaneously.
Durability: Consider a power bank with a solid build quality, especially if you plan to let your kids use it.
This looks like a decent model for a decent price:
Capacity: 25,600mAh
Output: 87W (USB-C PD)
Ports: 2 USB-C, 2 USB-A
Features: Fast charging, multiple device charging.
Price: $94.98
